I am a long-time customer of Master Pool & Spa, going back to 1999 with the purchase of a Down East Spa (Exeter model). I purchased that spa directly from the owner of Master Pool & Spa at a home & garden show here in the twin cities.
My spa never had any issues, and ran fine for +15 years. 2 years ago, the spa started to leak, and the cause was my fault due to improper winterization that caused a ruptured pipe in the spa. Master Pool & Spa sent a technician to my home, and did a thorough inspection. Based on the damage and the age of the spa, the recommendation was to replace rather than repair.
Of course, I hadn't planned to replace my spa, but decided to take a look at what models/configurations they had to offer. I also did some comparison shopping with the competition first, and after looking at other dealers pricing, I was less than enthusiastic about replacement.
Today, I purchased a new spa from the owner's son at Master Pool & Spa.. Customer service runs in their family, as the entire experience was "no pressure" just like when I bought my Down East spa from his father. I was given all of the information that I asked for, and I was given an extremely good price on a custom ordered spa based on his recommendation. Best of all, the current sale offers free delivery, free installation and free haul away of my beloved (but deceased) Down East spa. I highly recommend that you give Master Pool & Spa a visit - you won't be disappointed.
